HemoCue develops, produces, and markets medical diagnostic products for point-of-care testing. The fundamental concept behind the HemoCue products is to perform common blood and urine tests at the point-of-care without sacrificing the accuracy and precision offered by a central clinical lab. The current sales turnover is approx. 600 MSEK with export to more than 100 countries worldwide. The number of employees is 360, whereof 250 at company headquarters in Ängelholm. As the Global Product Manager New Products you are responsible for the market research creating the foundation for the business plan for new products within the hematology area. During the development phase you are the lead contact between marketing and R&D and participate actively in the development projects. You are responsible for securing implementation of business plans for new products within the haematology field. The key tasks include establishing market and customer requirements for the product, product positioning, documentation and sales promotion material and initiation of pre-launch and launch plans. You will liaise closely with the subsidiaries and distributors on a global basis. Over time you will take full commercial responsibility for one or more of your successfully completed NPD projects. Your location will be at the company headquarters in Ängelholm, Sweden.
Requirements • Academic degree in relevant areas such as marketing/economy or life science or preferably a combination of both • Experience from marketing, product management or similar position within the international life science area • Understanding of the medical/healthcare market • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Excellent command of the English language
