You will lead a technology unit with the responsibility of the global it infrastructure services – delivering future proof it infrastructure to the telia company group of companies as well as central functions. The unit has responsibility for driving the strategy, architecture and development of our it infrastructure platforms (it and telco). We define our service offerings together with our peers in sa&ops/it operations, implement, measure and follow-up for optimal customer satisfaction. It infrastructure services consists of six units: product management – it infrastructure steers our services development journey forward with focus on end-to-end from a customer perspective, baseline is our current installed base. Your key responsibilities include • strong leadership Required skills and qualifications You have good communication, cooperation and coordination skills and you enjoy working in an international environment. You have experience from large scale it infrastructure or software development as well as commercial understanding. You need to have a strategic view on it and which services to develop to support business needs. Moreover, you must be able to work in a global competence center which supports multi country planning, market analysis and defines the next generation it services for it/telco. • it services development focuses on development on top of our cloud platform. Database, middleware and other platforms as a service and is further responsible for software asset management in telia company.
• Cloud development drives the future development of our cloud platform nimbus and as well have the responsibility to harmonize compute, storage and networks from old world to new. The journey towards software defined data center is spearheaded by this team.
• Nfvi management drives the needed evolvement of the environment to secure successful on-boarding of planned vnf’s onto our telco cloud (nfvi). Manage and maintain the long-term vision of one common nfvi platform. Evolve the nfvi/vim architecture with capabilities as the environment converge with private it cloud and secure that new services can utilize the environment.
