MD/ Plant Manager, Anderstorp

on behalf of our client we are now searching for an experienced md/plant manager, anderstorp.

as md/plant manager you are responsible for our production plant in sweden. important missions ahead are to work with leadership, efficiency, profitability, quality and organizational issues. you run the business with a clear customer and market focus, promote a goal oriented approach and create opportunities for the organization to deliver high quality products. you have full economic control (p&l) and the responsibility for all site related activities in close cooperation with the local management team.

the md/plant manager will also be responsible for securing our company’s leadership values as well as financial performance, operational excellence and talent management. you also have the overall task to manage the relationships with relevant stakeholders. you work in an international company with similar plants globally and constant and active exchange with the hq in germany.

the md/plant manager will directly report to vp operations emea.

  • degree in engineering and/or economics
  • proven long-term experience of successful leadership in a similar position
  • p&l responsibility
  • relevant industry experience
  • used to work in cross country reporting relationships – matrix organization
  • worked actively with quality and safety related issues both internally and externally
  • fluent english and swedish


  • dynamic and flexible, aptitude for learning and change
  • strong ability to lead people
  • relationship building – a true networker, good listener to different stakeholders
