Business Development Manager (BDM)

as a bdm you will manage the growth of the client portfolio and increase shl brand awareness in the market. you will work close to shl’s presales, salesupport and consulting team to drive significant revenue growth within sweden. you will target human resource directors and organizational development professionals to identify opportunities, present solutions and close business.

your main responsibilities will be to develop a list of target prospects and develop solid, strategic relationships with key decisions makers within each prospect. you will also develop and execute on account management plans for assigned clients with the goals of increasing client satisfaction and identify cross-selling opportunities. you will report to the country manager.

qualifications

  • understand and believe in the value of objective assessment in strategic human capital solutions
  • some years’ experience of selling complex solutions, preferably in a consulting environment, with a proven track record
  • used to negotiations on a high level and to close and formalize deals, including negotiations of e.g. corporate frame agreements
  • experience of building long term relationships with people in different kinds of roles, positions and at different levels in the organization
  • experience from working in a hr position is preferable
  • bachelors or preferably masters in human resources, or business-related discipline
  • fluent in swedish and english
