Customer Technical Sales Representative – Liquid Inks, Denmark & Southern Sweden

for the very important responsibility of supporting our customers in denmark and southern sweden, we are looking for a customer technical sales (cts) representative to join the strong nordic liquid inks team and work closely together with the sales organisation in the region.

the role and responsibility of the cts representative will be to give technical support and advice to the liquid inks customers on the application and use of sun chemical’s liquid ink products. this also includes co-operating closely with customers on preventive measures and providing recommendations for improved production based on a technical and not least business insight and understanding.

responsibilities and duties

  • cover denmark and southern sweden.
  • responsible for technical sales/support, follow-up and problem solving at customers.
  • evaluate and select products, ensuring that customer needs are met.
  • on a daily basis visit customers and conduct routine checks for preventive purposes, and to provide recommendations for improved production.
  • manage regular technical meetings at customers.
  • continuous follow-up of product development within sun chemical.
  • continuously monitor the development of customers’ technical equipment.
  • provide customers in co-operation with the sales and laboratory team with products offering the ideal combination of the best performance for the customer, and the optimal profitability for sun chemical.
  • conduct trainings and seminars for customers/industry colleagues.
  • have contacts with internal/industry colleagues regarding technical issues.
  • implement and lead/drive forward the technical/sales projects with customers and internal/industry colleagues.


  • technical education and/or long employment in the graphics industry
  • thorough knowledge of printing processes, flexo and gravure
  • experience from the graphics industry (flexography)
  • good knowledge of printing inks, color matching and related processes
  • ability to write and speak fluent  english and danish or swedish (preferably danish)
  • ability to hold verbal presentations
  • basic it skills (word, excel, powerpoint, outlook, etc.)
  • knowledge of sap is an advantage

you will have a close co-operation with your nordic colleagues, and must be prepared to work from a home office. your location is therefore not critical.

there will be periods with a high intensity of travelling in- and outside denmark. during these periods, it is expected that you are able to have 2-3 overnight stays and 3-4 days travel a week.
