snow software is currently seeking a presales manager in norway to capitalize on the company's momentum and help us to grow in the expanding norwegian market. you will have the opportunity to enhance and secure the qualitative dialogue with the top enterprise customers in norway and be a part of growing the business. we are looking for a flexible, business and service minded person with a good commercial as well as technical understanding from corporate it infrastructure, being able to understand end users it estate and map this back to an implementation of snow software within that estate. an affinity with software vendor’s licensing models is beneficial within the role.

what you’ll be doing

responsible for collecting, maintaining and communicating knowledge on business and technical issues concerning the products including key regulations, business drivers, evolving business needs, security etc.

  • team up and work closely together with sales organization
  • conduct snow company/product presentations
  • prepare and execute product demonstrations
  • understand end users licensing/sam challenge and scoping proper solutions

presales

  • provide company and technical solution presentation with a purpose to demonstrate business and technical value
  • lead proof of concepts and technical evaluations directly with end users or through snow partners
  • respond to rfqs & provide solution proposals

project management

  • manage deliverables and expectations
  • deliver and coordinate deliveries with end users and snow partners
  • communicate with service delivery teams on implementation of projects
  • communicate with our software engineering group on issues identified from field observations and customer questions/feedback.
  • knowledge transfer and follow up

what we require from you

  • strong presales experience and knowledge about licensing management 
  • project leading skills and experience
  • exceptional communication, presentation and documentation skills
  • fluent in english and norwegian
  • flexible problem-solver used to rapid growth
  • understanding of and experience in sales processes to mid-size and enterprise customers
  • focused energy- proactive & energetic leadership of technical sales evaluations, solution demonstrations and customer conversations is key.
  • experience of technical sales- demonstrating ability to apply technical knowledge into sales cycles and constructing customer specific solution.
  • ability to listen to customers’ demands and eloquently present the technical and functional solutions that snow can offer, both through meetings and by formal proposals
  • desirable with experience in sam (tools and/or processes) and/or service management and/or it management
  • it infrastructure experience is a great advantage
