Commercial Manager, Nordics

NBTY is the leading vertically integrated manufacturer, marketer, distributor and retailer of high-quality vitamins, nutritional supplements and related products with operations worldwide. Products are marketed through wholesale, retail and e-commerce. The product range contains 25 000 SKUs under a portfolio of well-known brands with leading category positions across their respective categories, channels and geographies. NBTY offers wholesale customers a ‘‘one-stop’’ source for a wide assortment of both branded and private label products. In addition to strong brand positions, NBTY is a leading private label manufacturer in the industry with sales accounting for approximately one third of total revenue. NBTY has significant global presence including strong operations with leading VMHS specialty retailers across the European continent.

We offer

A new position with primary focus on the Nordic region plus 2-3 smaller markets in Europe where the common denominator is a strong growth potential for the NBTY brands. Your primary task will be to work jointly with local distributors to motivate and manage their efforts and to maximize sales and profit results. You will be reporting to the General Manager Europe and supported by the NBTY European Marketing and Customer Support Team based in the UK. To thrive in this position you must have a strong marketing and sales background and channel insights in the VMHS or OTC pharma industry and in depth knowledge/experience in the Nordic region. You will be home office based and travel extensively across the region, approx. 30-40% of your time. Your domicile is preferably close to an international airport in the Stockholm or Öresund region.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years relevant experience in sales, trade marketing and brand development
  • Extensive experience in B2B relationships and contract/partner negotiations
  • Solid experience in the Nordic VMHS and/or OTC pharma industry
  • Strong track record in commercial and P&L management
  • Academic degree in marketing or economics
  • Fluent English verbally and in writing
