Our customer is a privately owned developer and manufacturer of a wide range of high quality industrial adhesive and chemical products sold to customers in furniture & woodworking, paper & packaging, automotive and textile related industries across the world. The company has a long history and is today a global player with more than 700 employees, own sales subsidiares and a wide net of distributors across the world.
This is a newly established role to further develop and grow the business and to take full responsibility for the business development and financial management. The role will include monitoring and improving company performance as well as introducing and developing sales and marketing strategies to meet present and future challenges. To be successful in this role you must have a truly entrepreneurial mindset and ability to roll up your sleeves to make things happen.
You must have commercial management experience with full P&L responsibility from the chemical, coating, polymer or other relevant field. Experience or knowhow in the industrial adhesives market is advantageous. Furthermore you must have solid B2B understanding and experience from sales of consumables for industrial production. Ideally you have a technical and/or commercial academic education.
