If so, we are currently looking for a business minded Regional Sales Director Nordics to join the Ports & Maritime division.

The role is newly established and reflects Cavotec Group`s increased focus on global transformation. You will be responsible for the overall business and sales in the Nordic region within the Ports & Maritime division. You will lead a team of five sales persons in the Nordics and the customers are primarily port authorities, ferry lines, oil & gas operators but also electrical integrators and consulting companies for shore power products.

As a Regional Sales Director you will:

  • Ensure the operational deployment of strategic initiatives in the Nordics
  • Identify new business opportunities in line with the Group business strategy
  • Maintain and develop high level sales relationships in order to sustain and increase market quotas
  • Plan, develop and execute short- and long-term business development activities
  • Act as an internal business development & marketing partner
  • Co-operate in providing strategic sales & marketing plans
  • Drive the sales activities and actions in the Nordic region

The position is based in Hell (outside Trondheim), Norway, and reports to VP Sales of the Division.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or Industrial engineering and Management, or documented equivalent experience
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in an equivalent role
  • Strong experience in business development, selling and contract negotiations
  • Strong interest in and understanding of technology, engineering and marketing in the industrial solution industry
  • Experience of driving change and leading a sales organization in a global company,
  • Experience of working with people from different cultures and on different levels within the company is highly desirable
  • Very good language skills in Norwegian and English
