The Port & Maritime Division is looking for a Area Sales Manager Norway.

If so, we are currently looking for a business minded Area Sales Manager to join our Ports & Maritime division in Cavotec Norway.

The role will play an important role in Cavotec Group`s transformation and growth globally. You will be responsible for managing and developing strong and long-lasting relationships with existing and new customers within the Ports & Maritime markets in Norway. You will be part of a team of five sales persons in the Nordics and your customers are primarily port authorities, ferry lines, oil & gas operators but also electrical integrators and consulting companies for shore power products.

Your contribution to the team will include:

  • Support the Regional Sales Director Nordics
  • Provide technical and commercial support to existing and new customers
  • Prepare and analyze technical and commercial tender documentation
  • Project manage high volume contracts
  • Identify all relevant technical issues to ensure complete customer satisfaction through the whole sales process
  • Drive sales activities and actions in Norway

  • Degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering or Industrial Engineering and Management, or documented equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an equivalent role
  • Strong interest in and understanding of technology, engineering and marketing in the industrial solution industry
  • Strong sales experience with focus on customer service
  • Sound technical knowledge
  • Strong experience in contract negotiations
  • Very good language skills in Norwegian and English
