M&A Market Development Lead

The Position

After having delivered several large-scale sourcing and digital transformation programs to its clients globally, TCS continues to innovate and develop next generation services. This includes business services connected to mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, assisting clients in their portfolio management, notably by preparing organisations or business units in their new forms (pre-signing DD, Day 0/1 readiness, digital transformation and/or post-merger integration).

The position as Market Development Lead is new in the Nordics, and a team is currently being built in several markets in Europe. The main responsibility in the position is to establish TCS as a strategic partner for integration and separation transactions with corporate customers as well as with private equity companies. With TCS consultant teams in place, a successful integration or separation will be delivered, with a business technology and/or digital transformation angle in particular, throughout the transaction life cycle.

The M&A Market Development Lead joins the successful Swedish organisation but also a team of colleagues in Europe, and reports to Country Manager in Sweden as well as to the Function Head placed in Germany.

You are a true business professional, who brings an extensive network and industry knowledge into the position. You have been part of M&A transactions and projects with the aim to make new organisations successfully rigged for operation. Thus, you have the strategic mind to set up organisations correctly, as well as the consultative approach to advice and inspire people around you.

You also have deep knowledge of the IT perspective in the transformations connected to mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.

You are a relations person, who builds and maintains contacts with people around you – internally as well as externally. An important part of your daily work is to keep up to date with market changes and the business environment, and you easily convert information from different sources to comprehensive analyses important for you and your clients to be aware of.
