We offer

The Hilti Fire Protection team offers leading edge fire protection products for the global construction sector. In this role you will become part of an international team in proactively supporting development projects and thereby contributing to their successful implementation. You test the product during the development phase and secure approval vs. relevant industry standards. For products that are already on the market, you perform tests to meet the specific needs of our customers. You prepare and manage the testing, approval and certification process and help the project team to find the best solution for our customers. You are based at the Hilti R&D site in Kaufering, 60 km from Munich in the southern part of Germany. The role requires approx. 30% international travel.

Your background and experience

  • At least 5 years’ experience in the application of test and approval standards, ideally in the field of fire protection
  • High affinity for practical/manual activities coupled with strong analytical and conceptual skills
  •  Enjoys working independently with a strong target focus
  • Team player with excellent communication skills in an interdisciplinary, international and multi- cultural environment
  • Completed degree or similar educational background with training as a technician in the field of construction
  •  Fluent in English, verbally and in writing
