Senior Human Resources Business Partner - SAS

About the position

SAS HR function has been on a transformation journey for the last few years and took an important strategic step in 2019 where SAS new people platform was launched, and the different HR function was merged into one organisation. Our dynamic market and strive towards a sustainable aviation require a fit for purpose HR organization that can strengthen and develop SAS competencies, secure SAS attractiveness as an employer and drive organizational efficiencies in an ever-changing business.

The position as Senior HR Business Partner gives you the opportunity to enable change and growth by partnering with the senior leadership teams within Airline Operations to ignite our culture, build capabilities, boost employee experience, and deliver on our people promise to become the employer of choice. We welcome you to a strategic and business-oriented position delivering professional and scalable HR support across the business unit alongside centralized HR Shared Service Center, COE’s and Industrial Relations.

As Senior HRBP you are a member of the business unit Airline Operations HR Leadership team as well as a member of the Business Unit L2 Leadership Team.

Key responsibilities

  • Implement growth and BU HR strategy into people agenda, driving organizational and cultural change along with your team of HR professionals.
  • Providing expert advice and coaching to Vice President leaders and Directors leaders with your strong communication skills, excellent leadership capabilities and drive, building relationship and influencing skills at all levels in the organization.
  • Playing a central role in enabling strategic competence and workforce planning, including proactively recognizing trends, developing actions to strengthen the talent base building the right capabilities for SAS future needs.
  • Delivering high quality integrated HR solutions to the business and shaping them for the future success. Deliver innovative talent management solutions to meet future business needs.
  • Increasing organization effectiveness through organization design, team effectiveness, coaching and change management.
  • Making a difference in SAS’s tactical people agenda participating in cross-unit projects, building winning teams, actively sharing expertise and learning from others.

About you

You have a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration and/or related. We are looking forward meeting your previous experience in driving culture, purpose, and transformation in a multi-country organization. You have successful experience working as HR Business Partner with senior leadership teams/coaching senior stakeholders in a dynamic operational environment, preferable with production elements.

You have a minimum of 6 years in a business facing HR role and a proven track record of successful HR execution in a multinational context. You have worked in a service or transport organization with complex industrial relations landscapes in large complex companies building a strong business acumen.

  • You have a solid understanding and strong interest in business transformation and digitalization agenda, constantly looking for outside in perspectives and industry insights to drive continuous improvement,
  • You enjoy working in a dynamic, high pace growing global business environment

  • You are fluent in one Scandinavian language and English, both oral and written.
