As VP Global Sales you are responsible for the strategy, execution, and overall success of the Global Sales function measured in terms of profit and growth. You are responsible for the global sales organization, with 45 people including 3 directly reporting Regional Directors for Americas, EMEA and APAC. Important key areas of responsibility will include operational excellence in collaboration with the distribution partners related to sales processes, funnel management, market intelligence etc. You will furthermore work in close collaboration with business development to identify new markets and segments as well as appointing relevant distribution partners accordingly. You are part of the Senior Management Team and report directly to the CEO.
The role demands full understanding of all levers that drive performance and an outstanding combination of team management, sales strategy and marketing expertise. In addition, a strong ability to foster internal alignment across innovation, global marketing and business development. Experience from managing sales with an indirect business model via 3rd party distributors, managing global and regional distribution agreements will be of vital importance. To be the ideal candidate, you have proven international track record within the medtech industry, and ideally within In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD), containing creation of sustainable growth and competitive advantage in areas such as channel strategy, new segments and geographies and attaining high individual performance from yourself and your team.
