Head of Property Claims Center – Sweden

Insurance for If is about life, about their clients and what happens when the unexpected happens. The claims center Sweden at If handles 600 000 claims per year and is there for the client when the unexpected happens. If’s role is to help clients along in what can be a very challenging time and situation. As the Head of Property Claims Center you will not only lead one of the most important functions at If, you will also be the guide that makes sure that clients suffering from the unexpected gets the help they need to get further in life. The Claims organization at If has ambitious plans going forward, to reach these targets a new structure for claims will be implemented. In this new structure a new role as Head of Property Claims will be implemented.

The position as Head of Property Claims Center for Sweden will be a key factor in further developing and lead the transition process of the unit and its people to improve client service and satisfaction. In the daily operations the role will be responsible for the team delivering excellent service towards clients suffering a claim covered by If’s property and housing insurance. Together with the management team the role will be responsible for further developing and building a culture characterized by strong collaboration and customer orientation as well as setting up an efficient workforce management structure.

The Property Claims Center team for Sweden consist of 75 employees (6 team leaders) based in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Sundsvall. The role reports to Head of Claims Center, part of management team. The role will be based in either Gothenburg (Mölndal), Stockholm or Sundsvall.    

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership experience
  • Experience of change management
  • Experience from working within the functions of customer center / support / advisory or similar is a plus
  • Experience from the insurance industry is not mandatory, but nice to have
  • Fluent in English and Swedish, oral and written
  • Academic education is an advantage, but not a must have
