Procurement Manager Nordic, Direct Materials

As a part of our continuous success in the Nordics we are now looking for our new Procurement Manager for the Nordics who will be focusing on Direct Materials. The role will be placed at our Nordic HQ in Hyllie, Malmö

The Role as Procurement Manager Nordic will be responsible for cost reduction, supplier performance, risk mitigation, support to top line growth and innovation through the leverage of Procurement best practice tools. You will ensure local stakeholder management to ensure alignment between business and procurement objectives

Your main tasks will be to:

  • Be the primary point of contact and reference of procurement for Nordic countries within Direct Materials.
  • Establish and execute, in line with local management team supported by tools and policies, procurement activities to drive performance (Cost, Delivery, Services, Top line growth, Lean, Compliance) – Negotiations, Contract management
  • Support local deployment of procurement strategies (from Categories team) impacting Nordic Countries Business – Project management, change management
  • Ensure effective implementation and compliance with the new 2One processes
  • Coordinate and lead data management jointly with stakeholders for Business flawless execution – Budgeting, Savings, ERP integration
  • Monitor suppliers quality and service through KPI’s and regular business review
  • Deploy quality audits program in cooperation with Quality and Industrial department
  • Ensure TCO and help optimizing batch cost

Your background

Your background is probably industry based, manufacturing background. University degree or equivalent in Economic and/or Engineering. You have at least 5-7 years of experience working in procurement and have an experience in Direct Materials.

You are well experienced in managing stakeholder relationships with strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all teams, areas and levels in the business. Experience in working in a matrix organization. As a person you are Autonomous, have an entrepreneurial mindset and are strongly result oriented, you are capable of managing complexity with low level of information, decision maker and ability to execute
