Global HR Director - Modelon AB

Modelon is a rapidly growing and international software technology company in the modeling and simulation business, with around 100 employees distributed over offices in Europe, North America and Asia, with headquarter in Lund, Sweden. We are in transition towards a global professional software product company with a SaaS business model and complementary solution services business. As HR Director you report to the CEO and have a key role to globally support employees and managers in all HR related topics. You are a member of the management team. You are the owner and executor of the global HR function, and work with the management team to define goals and priorities.

Responsibilities and Measurables

You will be responsible for planning and executing Modelon’s Global HR function:

  • Drive the global HR process and calendar
  • Support managers in all HR matters, including contractual, legal and payroll matters
  • Globally coordinate recruitments and open positions, and support managers with recruitment process
  • Manage the Organization of orientation and training of new staff members
  • Support and coach line managers and staff to ensure functional reporting relations
  • Manage and resolve various upcoming HR-related issues
  • Lead HR-related change initiatives and projects
  • Proactively work with employer branding, employee satisfaction, and retention
  • Develop, maintain and implement HR related policies and guidelines and ensure Modelon’s compliance with HR-related legislation in all countries
  • Coordinate leadership training and individual development activities
  • HR-related global communication
  • Maintain a safe and secure working environment
  • Setting and tracking HR budget
  • Support management team to align identity, culture and practices across global Modelon
  • Global office management
