About Lesjöfors

Lesjöfors Group is Europe´s third largest spring supplier with a turnover of approximately SEK 5 billion and almost 2 800 employees. As the industry is fragmented with several smaller companies, the Lesjöfors Group has a clear and fast paced acquisition agenda. The governance model can be compared to a subsidiary model where the acquired companies maintain existing governance and management.

The ambition is to use the size of the group with its combined commercial platforms and offer the customer base a complete range globally. Products are sold under 13 different brands with strong local roots in each market.

About the role

With the ambitious commercial agenda described above, the Lesjöfors Group is also focusing on its people agenda. There is now the opportunity to join the Lesjöfors Group as HR Director with the mission to build and implement the strategic HR agenda for the entire group.

As a start, the Lesjöfors group has initiated ”A more modern Lesjöfors”, with focus on digitalisation, sustainability, and strategic HR, where the HR Director will find a foundation for further development and the opportunity to show the clear connection between business and HR.

The role as HR Director entails setting up a HR strategy for the whole Group, as well as at the same time finding local solutions for each market and subsidiary. The ambition from the Lesjöfors CEO is that the HR Director will secure the group as the number one employer brand in its industry.

In bullets, the HR Director will be responsible for:

  • The initiation, planning and implementation of HR strategies that support the group’s global and local goals.
  • ·Being an exceptionally strong ”co-pilot” to the Group CEO in driving all HR initiatives from start to finish.
  • Establishing a global HR function by leading directly reporting resources (1) and building on the existing HR community (16).
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance in the markets where the group is present through collaboration with local leaders, as well as identifying, evaluating, and implementing all necessary policies and procedures.
  • The HR work to be characterized by a clear balance between global and local initiatives as the companies are part of a group where the legal units are managed locally.
  • Taking part of the acquisition agenda, which involves both HR advice and onboarding of newly acquired companies.
  • Strengthening the Lesjöfors Academy, including the Learning & Development of all leaders
  • Building up a flora of local HR key figures to be able to demonstrate business benefit and comparisons between markets and units.
  • Evaluating and proposing digitization initiatives for the group connected to HR such as LMS etc.

You will report to Group CEO and be a part of the Group Management Team.

Your Qualifications and Competences

In bullets you need to have:

  • Extensive experience from HR Manager/Director roles from various companies and industries.
  • Several years of experience in global organizations at divisional or regional level.
  • A few years of experience in matrix organizations.
  • A few years of experience in the manufacturing industry.
  • Worked at least five years in an executive management team.
  • Good transparency in the application of international labour law.
  • Very good knowledge of HR policies, working methods, practices, and processes.
  • Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
  • Well-developed ability to manage several projects in parallel and prioritize in a global context.
  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Admin, Law or equivalent.
  • Opportunity to travel national and internationally.
  • Experience from coordinating internal communication initiatives.
