HR at If is in the middle of an exciting journey where the overall aim is to support the business to attract, develop and retain great people. In HR terms this translates to creating smooth people processes that add value not only for their customers, but also If’s leaders and employees.
If is looking for a new Head of Nordic HR Systems and Operations (HRSO). The role will be responsible for ensuring the daily operations of the unit and leading a management team consisting of four leaders and an IT Development Lead. This is an exciting opportunity to work in the intersection between people, processes and systems/technology where you will have the opportunity to contribute to and influence the direction of If HR going forward.
Besides developing and helping the HRSO management team members to succeed, you will have two main areas of responsibility:
With a lot of freedom in the role, you will be able to influence how this role will be shaped going forward.
As Head of HRSO you will lead an organization with about 50 full and part time employees and teams in all the Nordic countries. This is the backbone of HR with responsibility for paying out salaries to nearly 8,000 employees each month, as well as supporting managers and employees in day to day HR matters. In addition, HRSO develops and maintains 20+ HR IT systems, where Workday and the four local payroll systems are the most important parts. You will be reporting to If’s Head of HR and be part of the HR management team.
We are looking for a strong professional in the Human Resources area who can collaborate and communicate to engage and develop teams and processes across countries. To succeed in this role you must be able to proactively drive change and spark enthusiasm in others, be curious regarding future work trends and the business operations of If, have an analytical mindset and the resilience to achieve results. You are comfortable challenging existing circumstances by asking the right questions, but you are also a good listener focused on achieving the best possible solution for If as a whole in all situations, and you are good at giving constructive feedback and handling multiple stakeholders in several countries.
