International Sales Manager - Billerudkorsnäs AB

We challenge conventional packaging for a sustainable future. Now we need you as our new International Sales Manager.

You will be part of an international team within Managed Packaging. The solution area supports our customers with lowering total costs, reduces packaging damage and creates the impact brand owners requires. The use of world-leading corrugated materials ensures that our customers get strong and attractive transport and retail packaging.

You will be responsible for continuous growth of BillerudKorsnäs packaging solutions and revenue by prospecting, closing sales, and maintaining customer relationships. You will work with a highly professional internal team on projects with a high degree of complexity. Your primarily focus will be to identify business opportunities at brand-owners in Europe, and to promote a first business-case analysis to the customer. This is a long-term customer relationship position where you need to have patience, a business mindset and an outgoing attitude.

Your main responsibilities

•Identify customer needs and think of new ways that BillerudKorsnäs Packaging solutions can fill the needs in ways that create value for the customer and for BillerudKorsnäs
•Conduct extensive research and perform thorough due diligence on prospective customers
•Work collaboratively and in cooperation with a global BillerudKorsnäs Solution Sales team of project managers, designers and finance staff to get work done efficiently as well as to present a unified BillerudKorsnäs Solution business case to customers.
•Engage in consultative, solution-based sales conversations with new prospects and maintain relations with existing clients.
•Domestic and International travel to customer HQ and distribution centers is required.

The position is based at BillerudKorsnäs head office in Solna.

Experience & skills

Required:
•5 years of, sales, business development experience in the packaging industry (or nearby industry)
•Experience partnering with customers and suppliers on solutions
•Understand and formulate value propositions
•International experience (including travelling)
•English, fluent verbally and in writing

It is a plus, but not required, to have:
•Strong ability to adapt and sell technical, engineering and logistical services to clients with a commercial mind set
•Proven negotiation and assertive communication skills with excellent presentation, selling, negotiation, and analytical skills required.
•A team player personality with excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Innate desire to sell a value-added service
•Ability to manage multiple competing deadlines
