About the role

As Purchasing Manager you are included in the Supply Chain management group and will report directly to the Operations & Supply Chain Director. The role is located at Ecophon’s site in Hyllinge outside Helsingborg.

Overall responsibilities

• Lead the Purchasing department with 7 purchasers incl. financial planning, setting goals, follow-up and further development
• Build strong relationships with strategic suppliers
• Develop the Purchasing department performance as a service provider within Ecophon
• Responsible that policies and guidelines are applied within the business area
• Ensure that laws and agreements that regulate conditions in the business area are applied
• Work environment responsibility according to Ecophon’s delegation in order to increase motivation, well-being, safety and efficiency
• Ensure profitable supplier agreements for direct material and coordinate strategic purchasing for a specific range

Qualifications

• International purchasing experience from a producing company
• Excellent negotiation and networking skills, both externally and internally
• Experienced manager
• Used to long-term planning, development of processes, follow-up on operations activities and work with projects from start to finish.
• Goal- and result oriented with the ability to work self-dependently
• Good at building business relationships and communicating unhindered with people from different cultures.
• Very good knowledge in English both verbally and in writing
