Regional Corporate Governance Officer Northern Europe

We offer

As our Regional Corporate Governance Officer you are the responsible person and primary contact in the areas of compliance, legal, and medical affairs across Olympus’ North European region. You will also lead a small team with whom you will work in all areas. In the area of compliance you will develop and maintain the compliance management system and provide profound advice in regional compliance matters as well as supporting and implementing initiatives from EMEA headquarters Group Compliance team and conducting relevant training for employees, e.g. onboarding and changing requirements. In the area of legal affairs you will act as first point of contact for the EMEA headquarters and lead the implementation of prioritized initiatives within the region. You will own the medical affairs processes, create contracts and ensure process compliance in all healthcare professional interactions.

Your background

  • Relevant senior legal/compliance experience, preferably from the healthcare- or other relevant sector
  • Previous experience from working in or managing international law firm from on the client side is considered a plus
  • Deep understanding of commercial law in an international- and/or orthern Europe perspective
  • Practical experience in contract management
  • Strong knowledge of data privacy laws & regulations (e.g., GDPR)
  • Academic Law degree
  • Excellent English proficiency
