The position

As part of a global growth strategy within consumer brands sales, the position as Consumer Brands Business Manager has been recruited in six countries simultaneously. In Sweden, a renewed contract with Unilever forms the foundation to approach new target groups and perform structured sales actions.

The consumer brands business idea is that Diversey’s clients are given the opportunity to use Unilever cleaning and hygiene products professionally, either as part of their end customer offering (for example hotels and restaurants) or within their own organisation. In fact, all current Diversey client interaction involves an opportunity to expand the consumer brands business. The ambitious plan for the category involves growing sales to existing clients as well as to new clusters, focusing on SME companies that recognise and rely upon well-known consumer brands.

Until now, the consumer brands business has performed well also without cohesive strategic or operational steering. Therefore, in the new position as Consumer Brands Business Manager, an important part will be to thoroughly analyse the current situation and continue creating a concept around the products. Based on the set strategy, the Consumer Brands Business Manager will create and execute plans both in the long and short term to expand the business in the coming years. In the daily work, this means to visit clients together with Diversey colleagues, to plan and follow-up on campaigns and to train the clients’ sales organisations concerning the consumer brand products.

Representing the consumer brands business team, the Consumer Brands Business Manager interacts throughout the organisation at all levels. You report to Nordic Director, with a dotted line to Diversey European HQ in the Netherlands. You are part of the Swedish Sales & Marketing management team and will be part of the newly formed Consumer Brands Business Team.

Although you are a pronounced business person, you are also a true team player, who really enjoys developing relationships both internally and externally. You invite people around you and to work with you means being part of a team where information flows freely, and the communication is transparent. You are a good listener and are always looking for the best solution.
