CFO - Hutchison Ports

Hutchison Ports is a subsidiary of CK Hutchison Holdings headquartered in Hong Kong and listed on the Hong Kong stock exchange. The Hutchison Ports network is the world’s leading port network handling around 11% of the global marine cargo trade at approx. 50 port operations throughout Asia, Australasia, Middle East, Africa, Europe and the Americas. Hutchison Ports best-in-class terminal operating practices are shared across the network, including a proprietary Next Generation Terminal Operating System that manages crane and container movements with the utmost speed, accuracy and efficiency. Hutchison Ports is increasingly solidifying the internal alignment of systems and processes, allowing for the most efficient use of manpower, resources and facilities and ensuring the safety, security and speed of operations.

Hutchison Ports Stockholm

Hutchison Ports Stockholm is currently managing commercial operation of the container terminal located at Frihamnen in central Stockholm. A new port facility is under construction by Stockholms Hamnar at Norvik, Nynäshamn. The new facility will include a container terminal and roll-on roll-off facilities and will replace the Frihamnen terminal as soon as it is open for trade. Hutchison Ports has a 25-year concession to operate the new container terminal from start of operations in May 2020. One of the challenges is to work against tight timelines when it comes to building the organisation and to secure a smooth transition from Stockholm to Nynäshamn.

We offer

You will have a pivotal role in delivering the anticipated strong growth of the Swedish operations. The position as CFO is newly established to meet the increased requirements for finance & administration in connection with the significant ramp-up of the organisation and move to the new premises in Norvik in May 2020. You will select and develop your own team and take the overall responsibility for finance, procurement, payroll, pensions administration and property leases.

Qualifications

  • Solid experience in a financial management position as CFO or senior controller
  • Accounting experience
  • Knowledge and experience of dealing with external bodies such as external auditors, financial institutions, credit agencies and other related bodies
  • Relevant academic degree
  • Fluent English and Swedish
