Marketing Director - Clavister AB

Examples of solutions and services that the company provides are Secure SD-WAN, SASE, 4G/5G network security, Identity and Access Management, in combat vehicle security and others. In addition, they offer training and consulting solutions within the area. Clavister is in an expansive phase and are increasing the market share. The company was founded 23 years ago and today has around 150 employees with a turnover of around SEK 150 million. Currently Clavister has 20.000+ customers in over 150 countries. In addition, Clavister has around 25 nationalities at the headquarter in Örnsköldsvik. As the new Marketing Director at Clavister you will lead the marketing team and together with them build Clavister’s brand towards becoming a global market player in their segment. You will have ownership of activities making Clavister even more visible and further develop the company’s marketing channels and relationship with customers.

About the position

The Marketing Manager plays an important role in contributing to the visibility and revenue generation of Clavister. To reach your goals, you will design, implement and monitor the marketing strategies and product marketing functions. You will plan activities based on analysis in cooperation with an external PR & Marketing agency. An important part in the marketing strategy will be lead generation as well as defining and executing marketing automation activities. Furthermore, to build strong relationship with media and other stakeholders by developing creative PR strategies.

In your daily work you start from the strategy and evaluate the campaigns and activities that you realize. You will be responsible for the marketing team and have full P&L responsibility. To evaluate the profitability of executed marketing campaigns and to know how to adjust and improve them, you will have different KPI:s to reach. With your broad marketing perspective you will strive to keep yourself constantly updated on your competitors activities. Within your area of responsibility you will be facilitating production of marketing material as brochures, white papers etc.

As a leader, you will have responsibility for the marketing team initially consisting of 2 direct reports. You will set the agenda for the team, let the team be a part of the path forward and assure that the activities you initiate lead to your overall goal as a team.

You will report to the Chief Commercial Officer and work in close cooperation with the commercial department. You will also work closely with product management, as well as the external PR & Marketing agency.

About you

You are a communicative and inspiring person with a strong drive and self-motivation. You are experienced in developing and executing on marketing strategies. To be successful, you should have work experience within the Cyber Security industry and/or the enterprise software industry where you have demonstrable experience of designing and implementing successful marketing campaigns. You have extensive knowledge within lead generation and marketing automation. Other valuable experiences include SEO, web analytics and Google Adwords. You are a problem solver with project- and change management skills.

You have a Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communication or other relevant field.
