Research Editor/ Publisher

The bank is a leading global investment banking, securities and investment management firm that provides a wide range of financial services to a substantial and diversified client base that includes corporations, financial institutions, governments and high-net-worth individuals.

We are looking for an English speaking, eager and experienced individual to join the editing and publishing team at the Equity Research department in Stockholm. The successful applicant will ideally be an experienced equity research editor with excellent computer skills, but we welcome applications from people with knowledge of finance and strong language skills. The ability to work quickly, accurately and calmly in a busy and pressurised environment is desirable.

Tasks include editing a variety of equity, fixed income and macroeconomic research reports to ensure that they are grammatically correct, well argued and easy to read. You are expected to work closely with the analysts and be confident enough to suggest value-added improvements. The successful candidate will also format and publish reports.

Team work is an important part of the job. While individual editors usually work on individual reports, the team as a whole must ensure that all research reaches clients in a timely manner. It is essential that all team members pull together and work as a unit to complete the work outstanding during busy periods.

Development potential

This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with the banks’ top-ranked research teams and make a real difference. The bank regularly releases reports that move share prices and significantly change the market value of companies. Support and training will be provided, although it is hoped that the successful candidate will be experienced enough to quickly become self-sufficient.
