We offer

The hiab sourcing department works in a matrix and provides strategic sourcing support towards all business lines within hiab. The categories within sourcing are divided between four technical areas with a responsible category director for each area. The position as category director for connectivity and control systems is newly created with the purpose of leading the strategic development within the area, securing clear alignment across the hiab business lines and with the sister companies in the cargotec group. The category director will manage all sourcing activities and secure demanding and complex direct sourcing arrangements, promoting supplier relationship management and early supplier involvement across hiab.

Background and experience

• several years experience in senior sourcing roles, preferably in truck, construction machines, agriculture or automotive manufacturing industry
• experience from working in an international multi-site matrix organisation
• experience from managing high level relations and negotiations with large suppliers
• leadership skills in managing teams and key stakeholders
• excellent knowledge in sourcing methods, i.e.
