Gothenburg is developing, growing and changing fast. Few cities have its development potential. The planning committee and the city planning office play a central role in this challenge. Together with the city’s other administrative departments, our 250 employees will create the prerequisites for a competitive and attractive city that is sustainable in the long term.
Around 60 people work in the planning department on planning, project management and project support in order to produce detailed development plans, programmes and other planning documents.
The department consists of three detailed development planning groups and a project support group.
