General Manager, Nordic - Unilin

Unilin flooring division has a strong market position in the Nordic region. The company offers products within laminate, parquet and vinyl flooring under the Pergo and Quick-Step brands, mainly sold via the retail channel in the Nordic countries. Thanks to the strong Unilin brand, well known for quality and innovation, you will work in a very positive environment with potential for continued growth in the Nordic region. Your role will be to provide strong leadership, direction and management to the activities in the Nordic region.

Main tasks and responsibilities

You are an experienced leader working with B2B sales, preferably but not necessarily in an area related to building/construction materials. Your focus areas will be to lead the operational and local commercial team and actively monitor business performance against your set P&L targets. You will furthermore work with business and strategy planning where you will maximize the potential through effective market appraisal and ensure that the appropriate route to market is selected. You will be located at the office in Malmö/Hyllie or at our office in Oslo and report directly to the VP Sales & Distribution for the flooring division.

Your background and experience

  • Experience from direct distribution of an A-brand in the building materials or similar area
  • P&L management experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Broad experience in managing complex sales in an international framework
  • Excellent people management and leadership skills
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in engineering or marketing/finance
  • Excellent English skills
