Regional Logistics Service Director, Region North

Customers of Mölnlycke shows an increased demand of services, primarily within the logistics area, in parallel to our traditional product assortment. Developing and launching services that makes us competitive are critical in order to meet and exceed customer expectations, while maintaining a clear focus on profitable growth of the business. The Global Logistics Services team is therefore looking to recruit a Regional Logistics Service Director with specific focus on the customers within Region North. Your role:

  • To be responsible for and drive the range of Logistics Services within Region North, primarily in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland.
  • To define a local/regional strategic plan on short-, mid- and long term for Logistics Services, aligned with the company’s commercial strategy.
  • Secure that expected targets for revenues, costs, profitability and other metrics are met.
  • Actively participate and engage in dialogue with key customers through regular customer visits and meetings with key stakeholders to identify and meet customers’ needs of logistics services. Report on-going customer activities through CRM and other information channels.
  • Own and drive implementation projects, from pre-studies and pilots to larger scale commercial implementations across the markets.
  • Actively engage in the different phases of tender management, ranging from pre-tender activities to post-tender execution.
  • Actively collaborate with local/regional organization and central operational functions (Control Tower, Customer Care, Demand Planning) to align and secure customer requirements. Actively build and maintain a network of peers, externally and internally.
  • Monitor the operational performance and secure appropriate urgency is addressed where performance is deviating from expected level.

Qualifications and profile

You have a university degree and minimum 5 years working experience from relevant areas within Supply Chain Planning, Logistics, Sales / Marketing or similar.

As a person we believe you are a positive and performance driven team player with a high customer focus challenged by a fast paced environment. The position requires a high level of strategic agility and operational excellence, strong planning, organization, and prioritizing skills. Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to interact effectively with all stakeholders.

The role requires ability to travel extensively across the Nordic countries as local presence with customers is key in order to deliver on our ambition.
